Ken Oboz, EMIS’s Chief Executive Officer, has had a highly successful career in the healthcare field. His abundant in-depth knowledge and experience have been gained from a variety of business perspectives.

Specifically, Ken has been  

• Principal in the founding and first General Counsel of PruCare, The Prudential’s managed healthcare business.

• Vice President of Government Relations at The Prudential, where for 17 years he was responsible for all healthcare issues and instrumental in developing the lobbying and communications strategies for the healthcare industry’s legislative campaign addressing the Clinton Administration’s Healthcare Reform bill.

• Consultant to the HealthCare Leadership Council, Washington, D.C., an organization of major healthcare company CEOs established to lobby healthcare issues before the Congress and the Administration

• Senior Vice President of HealthView, Inc., the Newport Beach CA- based company that pioneered the concept of full body scanning.

• Most recently, Vice President and General Counsel of MediPhysics Pain Centers of America, the enterprise founded in 2002 to commercialize an innovative technology for the treatment of pain.

Ken received a B.A. in politics from Princeton University and his law degree from the Temple University School of Law, where he graduated first in his class.
